Constant high pitch noise and loud sound

Have had this fridge for a week. It emits a constant high pitch noise (like ringing in your ear) - which according the manual is typical due to high-efficiency compressors. My previous fridge was higher efficiency and never made this sound. In addition to the constant high-pitch sound, it makes a random loud sound - like an emergency alert sound. Lasts 15-30 seconds each time. Would not recommend this fridge.

I™™ve had this a couple weeks and this far it™™s doing great! I had to get a counter depth, due the small space in my kitchen. It still accommodates quite a bit. Thus far everything is doh g great. If you read you will know to not block the air vent (cause it will freeze stuff). So far no issues and I live it!

Our First New and Last Refrigerator!!

We love our new Frigidaire refrigerator. On a Thursday I noticed our 26 year old refrigerator had stopped working on the freezer side. Then the next day the fridge side quit working and I kept mopping up the wet floors. My kids came with coolers to help save the food. Then they started looking on-line for for a new one. Saturday, my daughter and I traveled hours to the closest town that had the size and make we were looking for. The big box store loaded our new fridge in her truck. It actually fit into the doors at our 120 year old home. We appreciate that it has plenty of drawers and shelves. The freezer side has more than enough room too. There are several lights inside so we never need to turn on the big kitchen light when sneaking a snack at 3am!

We had to replace our 14 year old fridge. Due to space available needed a new one that is only 28 inches deep to the front of the handles. The frigidare fit the hole. Except for the low ice production all is well. I will research how to increase ice production if it can be done.

I love the refrigerator, however with a little more knowledge I would have known I couldn™™t open the drawers unless the door was open fully, which the space does not allow. Therefore the fridge, which is counter depth, has to be pulled out to use the drawers. This leaves a 6 inch space behind the fridge! I™™m not happy with that! I would not have chosen counter depth if told That.

Nice fridge that looks sharp and gets the job done. Ice maker and water dispenser work great. I also like the lights inside. The only issue is the fridge door does make a rubbing noise from the bottom when you open all the way.
