We purchased this refrigerator when the compressor of the 21 year old GE fridge in our condo failed. We needed a fridge that would fit into a particular space. The new refrigerator is about 2.0 cubic feet larger, but feels much bigger, because of the efficient lay out. My husband really loves the deli drawer, which is a full-width drawer. The fruit and vegetable drawers are on rollers, which make for a smooth operation. The deep door shelves hold a lot of sauce and condiment bottles that were previously on the top shelf. Since the purchase, we ordered online the Pure Air AF-1 Air Filter, and it was easy to install. The refrigerator does make a moderate amount of noise, but this was noted in the user manual. We have gotten used to it, and it is not continuous. All in all, very happy with our purchase.

The unit works very well as does the ice maker I installed later. I gave one less star because of the incredibly sticky blue tape that was extremely difficult to get off the doors and the sides. It took several hours to carefully attempt to peel it off and then follow up with an adhesive remover. Both doors got nicked in the process.

I was very excited upon purchasing this new refrigerator because the back side is completely encased in metal, opposed to the cardboard they used to use, all of the holes are small and it was perfect because I've had problems with mice getting into the back of my fridge and chewing on the wires. I thought that Frigidaire was addressing this concern by changing the back to metal with small holes however I was extremely disappointed after I got it home I heard noises within it within 12 hours and upon closer inspection sure enough they have huge holes on the bottom side of the metal where it curves to meet the bottom side of the fridge. So they put metal with small holes everywhere except on the very bottom edge where things can climb in. I thought Frigidaire was being smart and trying to help people because I assume I'm not the only one with this issue but they are not. Extremely disappointing. Almost perfect design but a huge fail with the huge holes on the bottom, one on each side, I have no understanding why they would design it like this, my only thought is that they want it to look mouse proof but they actually want the mice to get in into the wires so people keep buying new fridges. Great plan Frigidaire I just won't buy a Frigidaire next time. Other than that this model is large which is nice, it has a cheese drawer that goes all the way across which is nice but they remove to the butter compartment which I really miss. Overall disappointed and if my landlord hadn't been the one to purchase it then I would be returning it. However for me that's just based on my issue with mice so other people might be happy with it. Also I would be writing this as feedback to the company instead of a review but I cannot find any place to give them any feedback on this poor design.

Although we didn't purchase the refrigerator, it was a part of PG&E's program for reduction of electricity use by using eco rated appliances, it's a great refrigerator! It replaced a fridge that was the same size outside but had less cu ft inside. For a small fridge, it is very roomy inside & I'd recommend this fridge to anyone needing a smaller fridge.

We purchased a refrigerator from Home Depot and within a week had our first service call. 1 1/2 weeks later EVERYTHING in the fridge FROZE and we have lost $200 in food. Frigidaire and/or Home Depot WILL NOT replace. They are replacing a thermostatand a control board when the fridge is only 1 month old. Parts are out a month and we have NO fridge. Had to go and buy a mini fridge to get us by. HORRIBLE customer service - will NEVER buy another Frigidaire product and will NEVER by at Home Depot again.

This model fits our needs but the icemaker sure falls short. Looking at reviews for it gives it a 2 out of five. It does work but is slow. We even tried lowering the freezer temps like the instruction says. I did note Frigidaire has since discontinued thismodel icemaker. We were not told this when purchasing.

I sent a review earlier this week and I got an email from Frigidaire saying that they ™€œmoderated™€ my review and could not post it for the reason (note singular) listed below ™€“ they list eight reasons:Mention a competitorIncludes personally identifiable informationMentions shipping complaintsIncluding inappropriate mediaContains a URLProduct is obsoleteIs vague or needs more detailIncludes profanityI have reworded my review/complaint below but they might still find fault with it because it is negative and they sure don™€™t want any negative comments. Maybe if they take it down again, they can be more specific about why.We bought model FFTR2045VW because we have the same fridge back home. When we got delivery of this new fridge from where we bought it, the doors would not swing closed. After reading the poor user manual, I determined that the tip preventers had not been unscrewed to floor level so that the front of the fridge would be 1/4" higher. After doing that, the doors would start to swing close but would "catch" when they were still about 6" open. I had a chat with some Frigidaire rep on line and spelled out the problem. I was given a dispatch ticket number and told to call a "local" authorized appliance repair service. I did and they sent out a technician over a week later. When he saw the problem, he said that it was a very common problem that was caused by a "fix" that Frigidaire had come up with after people complained that their door would not close all the way. So the "ingenious" fix was to put some sort of "cam" on the hinges for both doors that will cause the door to be pulled shut once the cam has been overcome. Here's what the feature says about this model "Avoid spoiled food and soupy ice cream with our auto-close doors, which ensure your doors are never left slightly open by automatically closing once the door is ajar 5™€ or less". So instead of leaving the door slightly open an unattended door that starts to close, will hit the "cam" and remain 5" open instead. How BRILLIANT! Take a bow you incompetent design engineer. And, why wouldn't the online chat people be told about this common complaint and know that the authorized repairman can't do anything except collect the warranty fee from Frigidaire? Looks like the company will lose money on this sale --- and maybe they should take it out of the Brainiac's pay. Really disappointed in a once classy company.

I had a very small space (30") to work with. There is not much selection in appliances that sized. I did my research. This Frigidaire model was perfect. I went to the store to look at at it just in case- trust but verify. It was as advertised so I purchased it. I love the no handle design of it, the smooth door surface(cleaning) and this appliance was 20 sq ft versus most at 18 sq ft. In a small space I'll take extra space however it comes! I bought it on sale at a really good price too. I can very much recommend this appliance.

We are impressed by the storage capacity of this unit. The fridge definitely has a lot of room inside and the freezer can hold a decent amount of goods. No light in the freezer but that's not a big issue. The light in the fridge is bright and cheerful. Like the font style on drawers, very nice design overall. This refrigerator runs quietly! We barely notice it (it's winter so we'll see how that might change when it cycles on more frequently in the summer). Glad we bought this!

Good for top freezer style. Not many options made anymore in this style, 30" width. Nice full width deli drawer. Roomy freezer section. Deep door bins; drawback is I don't use the full door storage capacity; fresh food doesn't do so well there since it's exposed to warm air when the door's open. Frigidaire. - if you're listening, you should make the bottom door bin shallower and the veggie bins bigger instead. Still, good overall. I do like the manual temp controls vs. digital. (The computer chip/motherboard in my last LG fridge broke, not removable so not replaceable, so couldn't adjust the temp, rendering the whole fridge unusable.)

??????????4 out of 5 stars. (BULLET) Finally new fridge w/o ridiculous wait.Like new fridge! Lots of storage on door for condiments, fridge is deep having lots of room. While there is no set space for eggs or butter, the room on door will more than accommodate that. Large side to side deli drawer holds plenty of cold cuts plus some vegetables or whatever. We have optional ice maker; however, we gave up one shelf to get that and there are only two shelves to start with. So, things tend to get buried in the freezer. It IS a large freezer, deep. The temp control keeps the fridge and the freezer at good solid temps. It is rated at 20 cu ft inside but fits in a tight space as I have very small kitchen. All in all, we feel it is a good buy for the money.

What an amazing Christmas blessing. our old refrigerator "feezer" had stopped working about a month prior not knowing what we were gonna do I got a phone call from SCE, Saying we were eligible now for a new refrigerator. My husband and I are so very very grateful. it's just A beautiful blessing that we will forever be grateful for.

Brand new. Great price. Only complaint would be lack of shelving in freezer section. Everything gets piled up together. I will need to find appropriate shelving.

I absolutely love my new refrigerator. I got it before Thanksgiving and couldn™€™t believe how much more room there is. It™€™s the same size as my old fridge, but has twice the depth on the door and. Shelves. I absolutely love the full width deli drawer. I can see items because they aren™€™t piled on top of each other. Absolutely the best!

Filling the Need

When our old refrigerator died, we looked for an Energy Star refrigerator that could provide all the perks we need, i.e. deli tray, vegetable crispers, and plenty of door storage, but still fit into the limited space available. Our new Frigidaire 20 cf ticked all the right boxes and is now performing yeoman service! Plenty of door space stores at least 3 half gallon containers of milk on the top shelf, with 2 other large shelves to fill with jars of assorted staples, even tall juice bottles. We're delighted!
