A perfect freezer for us!

Our 28 year-old freezer was doing OK but given its age, the prudent thing was to replace it. After looking over our options and different brands we decided on a 13 cu ft upright Frigidaire model FFU13F2VW. It has lots of shelves, some adjustable, and a great pull out basket on the bottom. Quite an upgrade for us to a frost-free unit plus open door and high temperature alarms. In addition to the peace of mind provided by all these features, the freezer also has a glowing green light that shines softly on the basement floor so when we look down the stairs we can confirm that the freezer is running. This Frigidaire meets all our needs!

I really like my upright freezer. The only thing it took a long time after I ordered it to get it. The first one was damaged so I had to re-order it and I end up paying more because it wasn™€™t on sale and it took over a month to get it.

Smaller than the 20yr old one it replaced but now with the kids grown and gone we didn't need as big of one. Like the fact it has a door ajar and a temp. alarm just in case. Also the green light that shines on the floor tells you at a glance that it's got power to it. The interior light is also a nice feature as the old one didn't have one. The price was decent as we bought it on sale. So impressed with it we bought our daughter and her family one also.

I received my Frigidaire upright freezer with no scratches or dents. Perfect condition and all parts were included. Took five minutes to get it set up and plugged in. Came down to final freezing temperature quickly and loaded with a few items and it™€™s working as advertised. I actually like the green power indicator light as it is easy to glance in the room and see that the freezer is working. Time will tell on the real test of the performance of this freezer, but so far, so good. My last freezer was a Frigidaire and I was happy with the time I got out of it.

I cannot compare the tremendous value for money that I have received for the purchase of this freezer! With current times, we are generally looking for the most economic options in purchases and the Frigidaire model easily met this criteria. However, more importantly, I was extremely impressed with the smart space in the freezer and the ability to change the door orientation etc. This is completely one of the best purchases that I have made allowing me to keep my meat well and safely frozen.

We finally decided that cramming food products into the freezer drawer of our kitchen refrigerator just wasn't doing the job, so we went shopping for a stand-alone freezer. The 13 Cu. Ft. Frigidaire, we found at Home Depot looked like a perfect size and the interior design and configuration proved to be just what we needed. The interior LED light covers the entire interior, so there is no problem seeing all our contents. Because this is an upright model, there is access to all the contents, thus avoiding having to remove products to find others. We'd definitely recommend this model to others needing a separate freezer and suggest an upright over the chest type freezer.

Our daughter bought a larger Frigidaire Freezer last year so we have been watching how it has been doing, both hers and ours are doing fantastic. The 13 Cu Ft is large enough for the 2 of us to take advantage of 2 for 1 sales, after all being on retirement we have to watch every penny, so this was definitely a hard decision to let go of the money to buy it. Home Depot even had it on sale in January, what a blessing! It was well worth it, we couldn't be happier.

We got this to replace an older freezer that failed. I went to the basement and saw a puddle of water in front of the old freezer, it had quit working. We lost about $900 worth of food. We purchased the new freezer for some of the new warning systems. This model has a bright green power indicator and an audible alarm if the temperature gets to high or the door is left open. These features would have helped prevent our food loss. I highly recommend this freezer.
